HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — The 2024 IHRA racing season kicks into high gear this weekend with the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser at Penwell Knights Raceway and IHRA Summit SuperSeries action at other tracks across North America. 

Make sure your IHRA membership is up to date as another IHRA Sportsman Spectacular comes to Knoxville Dragway in two weeks and the IHRA Hot Rod Classic at Xtreme Raceway Park is only a month away.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — Experience has paid off for Collin Russell. The 16-year-old from Royse City, Texas has more experience drag racing than most people twice his age.

In his 10th year racing Junior Dragsters, Russell is coming off a big season when he captured the win at the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser and FuelTech at Xtreme Raceway Park and placed fifth on the IHRA Summit SuperSeries National Top 10 list. 

HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) and No Prep Warz welcome TMF Metal Solutions as a major marketing partner for the 2024 season.

TMF Metal Solutions is a Native American owned and operated international metal fabrication contractor. Their expertise is in laser cutting, forming, sawing, finishing, welding, hardware insertion, surface treatments and coatings. 

ORANGEBURG, S.C. — South Carolina Motorplex and the International Hot Rod Association are teaming up once again to bring great bracket racing to the Lowcountry.

Under the ownership of Candice Roberson and Jesse (J.P.) Williams, the Neeses, S.C, track hosted multiple outstanding events in 2023. The trend continues as South Carolina Motorplex is scheduled to host an IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering on April 27.

ODESSA, Texas — The excitement is building as the season opener for the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering comes to Penwell Knights Raceway is less than two weeks away Saturday, March 16.

Racers in Box, No Box, Sportsman, Motorcycle and Junior Dragster classes will compete for prestigious IHRA Ironman trophies and the very popular oversized championship checks. IHRA members will also be in the running for limited-edition Sportsman Spectacular commemorative medals.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — The International Hot Rod Association and its member tracks are proud to showcase the young racers competing in the Junior Dragster ranks.

Aurora Lyons, a 15-year-old from Fort Chiswell, Va., is starting her fifth year in the smaller scale cars. Her favorite place to race is her home track, Elk Creek Dragway, and she draws inspiration from her dad, an older cousin Robby and Alex Taylor from Hot Rod Garage.
