MAYNARDVILLE, TN — Five racers including a former IHRA World Champion hit the right notes to take home victories at Saturday’s IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering at Knoxville Dragway.

Denise Young, Alfred Ault, David Bigham, Dalton Markham and Caeson Markham earned IHRA Ironman trophies, oversized championship checks, limited-edition medals and entry into the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange as long as they enter at least two other IHRA races (an IHRA-member track Summit SuperSeries team race or Sportsman Spectacular) before the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals.

HOUSE SPRINGS, MO — There’s no doubt the future of drag racing is in good hands with talented drivers like Liam Miller, a 13-year-old from Rootstown, OH.

Miller has been racing five years and competes at Quaker City Motorsports Park in a one-of-a-kind, 4-link 2003 Spitzer. He won on a holeshot in the final round of the 2023 IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering at Quaker City last July. Miller posted a .016 reaction time to go along with his pass of 8.167 seconds at 73.82 mph.

PADUCAH, KY — The International Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering hits high gear in one month with races at Beacon Dragway and South Carolina Motorplex.

Both events give drivers great opportunities to race for big prizes and even bigger rewards into the future.

TIMBERLAKE, NC — Roxboro Motorsports Park continues a great holiday tradition with the 65th annual Easter Bash this weekend.

The prestigious three-day event begins with a Friday test-and-tune along with $1,000-to-win Gamblers races for the Top and Footbrake classes.

MAYNARDVILLE, TN — Racers in the Smoky Mountains and surrounding areas have the chance to compete for big checks, big money and an even bigger opportunity when the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering comes to Knoxville Dragway.

It will be the first time the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular has come to an East Tennessee drag strip. Drivers in Super Pro (Box), No Box, Sportsman, Motorcycle and Junior Dragster classes will compete for prestigious IHRA Ironman trophies and the very popular oversized championship checks. IHRA members will also be in the running for limited-edition Sportsman Spectacular commemorative medals.

HOUSE SPRINGS, MO — The International Hot Rod Association is proud to highlight the future of our sport, the great Junior Dragster racers at IHRA-member tracks across North America.

Mia Sanders, an eight-year-old from Granger, IN, is the newest racer to be spotlighted. She competes in a 2003 Halfscale car and has been racing two years.

HOUSE SPRINGS, MO — Thanks to the great support of partners the IHRA Hot Rod Classic and No Prep Warz are coming to IHRA member tracks soon.

Major marketing partners — Don Baskin Trucking LLC, Hoosier Racing Tire, M&M Transmission and Extreme Racing Oils — have helped make the IHRA Hot Rod Classic a reality.

ODESSA, TX — Tom Hollifield and Evan Santos led the way Saturday night by racing to Box and No Box victories at the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering at Penwell Knights Raceway.

HARTSVILLE, S.C. — Normal track maintenance led to the refurbishing of a historic sign at Darlington Dragway.

As workers trimmed overgrown juniper trees, track president Jeff Miles added they needed to do something with the sign that listed the names of IHRA event winners, particularly from the IHRA Winter Nationals.

ODESSA, Texas — The classic country music and Southern Rock line, “T for Texas, T for Tennessee,” certainly applies to the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering.

Penwell Knights Raceway hosts the season-opening races this Saturday, March 16 and Knoxville Dragway will be the next venue to host the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser on Saturday, March 30.
