The Holland, Texas track has a long history, dating back to 1957, as well as a rich history with the IHRA. Featuring an 1/8-mile drag strip, it was named IHRA Division 4 (Renegades) Track of the Year in 2013 and 2021.
Little River Dragway features a busy schedule from March through November. The facility has hosted many major events over the years including the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Hagerty and Moser Engineering and the IHRA Junior Team Finals.
Some of the top Junior Dragster racers in the country have raced on a frequent basis at the historic track. It features a strong IHRA Summit SuperSeries program and their strong contingent of racers recently competed in the IHRA Division 4 Summit Team Finals.
Michael Wayne Turman was the runner-up in the Mod (No Box) class at the 2020 IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals.
Representatives of Little River Dragway at the 2021 IHRA World Finals included: Steve Dingman (Top), Michael Turman (Mod), Chance Turman (Junior) and Robert Schoemer (Sportsman).
The track’s 2022 schedule included vintage drags, the Texas Volkswagen Drag Racing Association, Hot Rod Tour of Texas, Off the Trailer races, Harley Drags and the Corvette drags. In the past, they’ve even hosted the big rigs. Now with the IHRA, the historic facility promises to host more great racing in the future.
