The required date for an IHRA membership to be able to compete in the IHRA Summit Team Finals is July 1.  Don’t wait until the very last minute as there are literally great IHRA Summit SuperSeries races this weekend across North America from the East Coast of the United States to West Coast of Canada.

Elk Creek Dragway has become one of the most popular drag racing destinations in Virginia. Racers rave about the beauty of this facility which hosts Division 1 (Patriots) action on Saturday. Going across the border to the Kentucky, the always popular Beacon Dragway is hosting Division 2 (Heat Wave) racing.

It’s a big weekend for Muncie Dragway which is hosting an IHRA Ironman Classic as part of its Saturday program of Division 3 (North Stars) action. KD Motorsports Park in South Webster, Ohio has two days of IHRA Summit SuperSeries racing presented by Lowe’s Home Improvement. Saturday is a double points day at KDMP.

The action heats up in the Lone Star State with Texas tracks — Amarillo Dragway and Xtreme Raceway Park — featuring Division 4 (Renegades) racing. Amarillo hosts the Ryken McClain Benefit race, while Xtreme Raceway Park offers drivers to compete at one of the newest facilities in the country.

Racing in Division 6 (Midwest) heads to the Pacific Northwest with two days of racing at Nitro Motorsports Park in beautiful British Columbia. The Canadian track has been attracting a great variety of cars from classics to Corvettes early in the season. There's also three days of points racing — Friday, Saturday and Sunday — at another track North of the Border with Sasktechwan International Raceway. Thunder Valley Dragways in South Dakota has races on Saturday and Sunday.

It wraps up with Division 8 (South) tracks at Knoxville Dragway and Holiday Raceway. Some of the best racers from East Tennessee and beyond are expected at Knoxville this Saturday with Holiday Raceway in Alabama looking to build off a strong first half of the 2023 season.
