IHRA adds Gemini Auto Lifts to Summit SuperSeries prize list

Friday, 12 April 2013
The International Hot Rod Association is pleased to announce that Gemini Auto Lifts will be adding to the already lucrative Summit SuperSeries championship prize list with a brand new lift going to the winner of the Mod World Championship at the IHRA Summit World Finals at Memphis International Raceway in October.
Already one of the largest prize packages in auto racing, the Summit SuperSeries championship packages includes $10,000 awarded to the winners of the Top and Mod World Championship, plus a wide range of exciting prizes including the newest addition – a Gemini Auto Lifts GPO-9 Two Post Lift.

“We are pumped to be able to offer a prize to the Mod World Champion that any car lover can enjoy,” said Jon O’Neal, IHRA Division 1, 3 and 5 Director. “A lift for home use is one of those high-dollar items that can seem out of reach for a lot of automotive enthusiasts and a U.S. made lift from Gemini sits on the top the pile. We are proud to be able to offer such a useful tool to our racers.”

Gemini Auto Lifts of Burleson, Texas has been building lifts since 1992 and have manufactured “private labeled” lifts for some of the most visible lift companies in America. Their 20,000 square foot manufacturing plant consists of state-of-the-art CNC Equipment, an in-house power coat facility and during that time Gemini has become recognized as an industry leader in U.S. built lifts. They are the only lift manufacturer left in the United States that builds a complete line of automotive lifts with American components and American labor.

Gemini builds two post commercial lifts from 7,000 pound capacity to 18,000 pound capacity for military use. Their storage lifts have quickly become a big part of their sales and come in a variety of single post designs, four post designs and the new Super Twin mega four post lift. Gemini has dominated the “car stacker” market and builds for most all the major trailer manufacturers today, but they are also very much available to the public.

Gemini’s popular two post lift will be one of several exciting prizes going to the winner of the Mod class at the Summit SuperSeries Championships. The Mod winner will also receive $10,000 from Summit Racing Equipment, a $2,500 gift certificate from Trick Flow, an Aruba Vacation for two, a Howell pit bike, Gold Card, Ironman and championship ring. The Top winner will receive a brand new Maddox Race Cars Dragster with a Trick Flow Engine and a custom paint job from Imagine That, an Aruba vacation for two, Gold Card, Ironman and championship ring.
