Randy Krantz was a repeat winner the Mod ET class. He raced to his second win of the season.
The event also featured the Wisconsin Outlaws group, while Jacob Beirer also became a two-time winner in the Street class. Saturday’s races actually started with the Junior Dragster class where Anthony Carp beat Kylee Degnits in a Super Pro / Pro combo race.
Afterwards, Great Lakes Dragaway put together an awards ceremony for the kids in the track’s air-conditioned pavilion.
In a picture perfect weekend, Lindsay Sarauer emerged triumphant in the aforementioned Top ET race.
Just like the day before, there was another two-time winner in the Mod ET class. Scott Pichette captured the Mod ET victory and also was the winner in the Combo race.
Don DeBaere, an IHRA Ironman winner, was victorious in the Street class. He praised the track prep for the best it has been all season.
Also as part of a three-day racing weekend, Chad Rentmeester won Friday’s NBN warm-up race with 10 cars, chips pulled, all cash.
Great Lakes Dragaway has its next IHRA Summit SuperSeries weekend set for July 8-9. There will be another NBN warm-up race on Friday and the Wisconsin Outlaw Street class to again be part of the Saturday action.
