Purchased by the Chance family four years ago, Ozark Raceway Park is an 1/8 mile drag racing facility nestled in the beautiful hills of the Ozarks. Featuring a busy schedule with racing every Saturday night from April through October, Ozark Raceway Park is once again excited to be a part of the IHRA family and looks forward to taking advantage of the many sportsman programs the IHRA has to offer.
“The IHRA is excited to have Ozark back in the family and we look forward to working with them as they prepare to fully utilize the many outstanding programs the IHRA has to offer including the Summit SuperSeries, Summit Team Finals and other member track benefits,” said Jon O’Neal, IHRA Division 1, 3 and 5 Director. “It is a one-of-a-kind facility with big plans for the future and a management team that is always looking to grow their sportsman programs. It should be a great partnership this year and in the future.”
Ozark Raceway Park is owned and operated by the Chance family. Mitch, Neal and Marty Chance have been involved in drag racing for most of their lives and their experience has helped them grow the facility and their sportsman racing program. Certainly a unique track, with log cabin-designed buildings, from the main office to the starter box, Ozark Raceway Park embraces its forest locale as racecars roar down the 1/8 mile asphalt strip with over 200’ of launch pad. The track also boasts some of the best food in drag racing at its concession stands.
The busy Ozark Raceway Park schedule includes many forms of racing from shootout programs featuring Pro, Mod, Pro Street, True 10.5, Drag Radial, Junior Dragster and additional classes. The track also hosts multiple test and tune nights, Midnight Drags once a month and multiple special events held throughout the year.
