There are bigger opportunities as racers can gain entry to the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering by winning the main event in one of the aforementioned classes in conjunction with entering at least two other IHRA races (an IHRA-member track Summit SuperSeries team race or Sportsman Spectacular) before the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals. Current IHRA membership is required. 

It's the first time for the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular at Humboldt County Dragway, which first opened in 1963. Owners Tom and Melanie Monson hosted a successful IHRA Ironman Classic in September 2023 with Brad Nickerson (Top), Guy Barley (Mod), Craig Delfs (Sportsman) and Zade Swanson (Junior Dragster) among the race winners.

Here are important facts regarding the event:

• Sportsman Spectacular winners, who are IHRA members, now earn entry into the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals in conjunction with entering at least two other IHRA races (IHRA-member track Summit SuperSeries team race or other IHRA Sportsman Spectacular races). Current IHRA membership is required.

• Get an early jump on becoming an IHRA member by clicking here for the IHRA membership center or by calling Heather at (85) JOIN-IHRA. Racers can also sign up for memberships at the track.

• Event entry will take place at the track

• IHRA license renewal will be available on site

• IHRA IronMan trophies awarded to event winners
