Since 1956, Bunker Hill Dragstrip is celebrating 62-years of motorsports entertainment in 2018.  Track owner Adam Confer grew up watching his dad race down the track and even racing himself in 2002 at tracks in Michigan. In 2016, Confer purchased Indiana’s oldest continuously running dragstrip thus saving it from being closed forever after former owners Steve and Darlene Daniels put the 23-acre property on the market.

 

 

Being a relatively new owner, Confer has spent numerous investments in the facility which new attracts racers each week. 

 

“Adam Confer has literally put his heart and soul into the facility after moving back to Indiana and purchasing the track,” IHRA Division 1, 3, and 5 Director Jon O’Neal said. “He spent years racing at IHRA facilities in weekly IHRA programs and Summit Team Finals events which allows to make the facility a first-class destination for racers and fans.”
