HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — The battles for International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Summit SuperSeries track championships are coming down to the wire with races across North America.

Elk Creek Dragway in the Commonwealth of Virginia will bring the All-American action Saturday with Division 1 (Patriots) races. The sweet sounds of the drag strip will be taking place at Music City Raceway, which is home to Division 2 (Heat Wave) action.

There are IHRA Summit SuperSeries points races at Division 3 (North Stars) tracks Saturday. They include Quaker City Motorsports Park, Dragway 42 and Pacemakers Outlaws Motorsports Park in Ohio, and Muncie Dragway in Indiana.

Amarillo Dragway has Division 4 (Renegades) races and the IHRA Ironman Classic on Saturday. Xtreme Raceway Park also hosts exciting Division 4 competition that day. The rumbling you hear from Division 5 (Thunder) will come from Wisconsin International Raceway and Ellis I57 Dragstrip on Saturday. Great Lakes Dragaway, the oldest continuous drag strip in the world, has two days of racing including an Ironman race on Saturday and Sunday.

North of the border, Nitro Motorsports Park will host Division 6 (Midwest) racing and an IHRA Ironman Classic on Saturday. Also this weekend, the IHRA Summit Team Finals crank up with the Midwest Team Finals at Onawa (Iowa) Dragway.

It’s a great time to be an IHRA member with so many exciting events at tracks all across North America.
