IHRA Junior Dragster Profile: Presley Peagler

Friday, 17 November 2023

HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) continues to highlight the future of drag racing with the great Junior Dragster racers across North America.

Presley Rayne Peagler, a 10-year-old from Sylvania, Georgia, is the latest racer to be highlighted. Introduced to the sport by her grandfather whom she calls her racing hero, Presley is in her second year competing at South Carolina Motorplex.

She calls racing an absolute blast and loves the lifetime friends she has made in such a short time. When she’s not on the track, Presley plays softball and competes in pageants. As a racer, it’s not surprising that her favorite subject in school is math.

When she’s finished with school and the Junior Dragster ranks, she wants to begin driving her granddad’s Chevy Luv pickup on the drag strip.

The IHRA will keep highlighting these young racers and the IHRA-member tracks on our website and social media channels. We love seeing their enthusiasm and the future of the sport in such good hands.
