Carter Reeves, a 10-year-old from Augusta, Ky., is the subject of the newest profile. Carter has been racing three years and he calls the beautiful Kentucky Dragway his home track.

He drives a Halfscale dragster with a Blossom Super Rhino 2.1, 8.90 power plant. His racing heroes include his dad and four-time NHRA Top Fuel World Champion Steve Torrence, whom Carter has been able to meet.

Carter loves going fast and seeing his friends. His future in the sport looks bright as his favorite subject in school is math and his other interests include 4H shooting sports — archery, rifle and pistol — which like racing takes a lot of concentration. He is also learning how to MIG weld with his dad.
