STEELE, Ala. — There was a little foreshadowing of the IHRA Division 8 (Raiders) Summit Team Finals main event during the fun of special awards. You could check out all the fast cars or you could have watched the golf cart race.
Team Alabama beat Team Brainerd in the golf cart final as part of a fun-filled team finals. Don’t feel bad for Brainerd, they were honored for the Best Appearing Team and Grandstand.
Individual racers were also honored for the hard work they put into their race cars to make them stand out from the crowd.
