The Amsterdam, Ohio racer put in many hours of practice and hard work learning the sport. It includes over 100 passes between test-and-tune sessions and race days at Quaker City Motorsports Park and Dragway 42.
Those efforts paid off handsomely as Lee scored multiple wins and was in several semifinals, including the IHRA Ironman Classic that Quaker City Motorsports Park hosted.
His family purchased a Halfscale Junior Dragster when he was five as Lee learned the basics of the sport. He finished fourth in his first year racing for points at Quaker City Motorsports Park.
With a favorite subject of art in school, he hopes to carving out a career in the sport with a goal of racing a full-size dragster when he gets older.
