Beyond the drag strip, ORP is well known for the natural beauty which the facility sits on. The venue, which uses the 1/8-mile for the drag-slick events and the 1/4-mile for the street-tire races, also boasts some nice man-made features including a three-story tower with concessions underneath.
There is an Accutime timing system as well as concrete barriers 800 feet down the track. There is a huge shutdown area, along with plenty of paved parking spots. Ozark Raceway Park offers a variety of Extreme Fuel and Oil Products to its racers.
Ozark Raceway Park representatives at the 2023 IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals were: Casey Dilbeck (Top), Lee Marcum IV (Mod) and Jocelyn West (Junior Dragster).
Dilbeck also headlined the winners at the IHRA Ironman Classic in July. Bryan Walker took home the prestigious IHRA Ironman trophy for the Mod class. Steve Carlock (Sportsman) and Jasmie Farrow (Junior Dragster) were the other Ironman winners.
