If you are in the Augusta area on Friday, August 17 and want to see the world famous "Spirit of Alabama" jet-powered dragster and meet driver Joe Zaccaro, then check out the Thunder Jam prerace party one day before the Carolina Thunder Jam at Carolina Dragway this Saturday, August 18 at 7 p.m.  

The legendary "Spirit of Alabama" will be on display and driver Joe Zaccaro will be available for pictures and autographs at Milton Ruben Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep located at 3516 Washington Road, Augusta, GA from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, August 18.

Zaccaro will be piloting the blazing fast "Spirit of Alabama" jet-powered dragster down the Carolina Dragway strip on Saturday night against the incredible Grave Digger and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle monster trucks, the "Chevy Rebellion" wheelstander, hundreds of local drag racing stars and much more.    

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under and parking and an all-access VIP pass to the AMSOIL Pit Party is included with the price of admission. The AMSOIL Pit Party will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by Thunder Jam at 7 p.m.
