Other classes competing for Ironman trophies are: No Box, Sportsman, Bikes and Junior Dragsters. Adding to the excitement, it’s the final season points race for all classes.
The No Box class features a $2,500 winner’s purse. It’s $70 single entry and based on 50-plus cars. The Sportsman class has a $1,000 payout with a $40 entry based on 30-plus cars.
For the Motorcycles, it will be a minimum of 10 bikes to run separate. It’s $1,000-to-win with a $100 entry fee based on 16 cars. The Junior Dragsters compete for a $1,000 winner’s purse with a $50 entry.
Besides the competition for the Ironman trophy, there’s also a 6.0/7.0 Index race that pays $1,200 to the winner with a $100 entry based on 16 cars.
Gates open at 3 p.m. followed by time trials at 4 p.m. Spectator costs are $10 with kids 12-under admitted free.
There’s also a test-and-tune scheduled for Friday night from 6-10 p.m. There’s a Gamblers Race starting at 8 p.m. with a $20 entry fee and 80 percent payback.
