Saskatchewan International Raceway IHRA Summit SuperSeries Champions Honored

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The International Hot Association (IHRA) Summit SuperSeries program crowns a true Super Pro (Box) and Pro (No Box) World Champions each year.
The two ways to qualify for the annual IHRA Summit World Finals held in October at Memphis International Raceway are to win the Summit SuperSeries track championship at one of the participating member tracks or by winning the IHRA Summit Team Finals in your division.
 
Tracks across North America held banquets to recognize their 2018 IHRA Summit SuperSeries track champions including those featured here from Saskatchewan International Raceway, Saskatoon, Sask. 
 
SIR
Super Pro (Box):
Travis McBain was the 2018 Super Pro champion at SIR.  The 51-year-old from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada races a 2012 Diamond Dragster and has help from his crew of his wife Heather Fantie and children Teryn and Chris Mcbain on race day.
 
McBain described the season with highs and lows with great racing that made it exciting coming down to three cars to decide the 2018 champion.

Pro (No Box):
Braydon Heroux, a 27-year-old from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada races a 1968 Cutlass 442 in the Pro division at SIR with the help of his crew Bob Heroux, Scott Yaremko, Richard Harder and Glenn Yaremko. 
 
The time spent at the track with his family and friends while going rounds and seeing smiles on their faces was his most memorable moment of his championship season.
