Newly Renamed Keystone Raceway Park Readies For Summit Pro-Am Tour

Friday, 01 July 2016

The former Pittsburgh Raceway Park, known for racer hospitality and a family friendly atmosphere, will welcome the Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour July 8-10. The double race weekend will count as an "in division" claim for both Patriots and North Stars competitors.

“The staff here at Keystone Raceway Park is always excited to invite the IHRA class racers to our facility,” said facility manager Greg Miller. “We strive to put on safe and smooth events throughout the season and always look forward to the challenge of incorporating the IHRA sportsman to our mix every year.  It will also be great to have the Juniors supported with a points claiming event leading to the Summit Tournament of Champions.”

Racers are asked to enter the facility from the Route 22 entrance as facility improvements in that area have made it a much smoother and an easier progression into the pits. The Stone Jug Road entrance will not be utilized as an entrance.

The IHRA has continually re-set the standard for sportsman coverage with the live-broadcast provided by MotorMania.  The broadcasts often hover around 100,000 viewers from 92 different countries.  Summit Racing Equipment and the IHRA are thrilled to lead the way in creating global exposure for IHRA sportsman racing.
