Due to the recent schedule change concerning Dragway 42, the IHRA felt there needed to be another option for racers in the North who needed an “In” claim.

“We’re excited to host the IHRA Division Racers at Empire, said owner Jerry Scaccia.”And having the race opened up to Division 3 racers should allow a lot of racers to relive the days of the National Events at the facility, not just D1.”
