Skelton Raceway Has Good Turnout for IHRA Summit SuperSeries Opener
SIKESTON, Mo. — Skelton Raceway got its IHRA Summit SuperSeries season off to a great start with a strong turnout despite a bad weather forecast and even a short rain delay over the past weekend.

Ricky Skelton Jr. was the winner in the Top (Box) class with Greg Kildow also advancing to the final round. Dan Smith drove his Chrysler LeBaron to the Mod (No Box) victory with Kameron Keyser taking runner-up honors.
Janetta Bollinger captured the Sportsman victory with a win over Dusty Smith in the final round. Keaton Overstreet was the best on two wheels with the Motorcycle win over Logan Whitlock in the final round.
The Junior Dragster final saw Madi Hager come through with the win over Gavin Jones. The ET class had Frank Wehmeyer with the win and Riley Kuffel making it to final eliminations.
Skelton Raceway also hosted a Top/Bottom combo race on Friday night with Jake Overstreet beating Steve Stepro in the final round. More great IHRA Summit SuperSeries racing is taking place across the country.
