Dragway 42 Announces 2025 IHRA Points Fund
WEST SALEM, Ohio — Dragway 42 has announced payouts for its 2025 IHRA Summit points fund headlined by the Top and Mod winners.
The longtime IHRA-sanctioned track nicknamed “Northern Ohio’s Place to Race” will provide the winners in the Top and Mod classes $1,500 plus a $500 gift card from 501 Performance. The Bike / Sled class pays $300 to the season champion.
A terrific facility first opened in 1957, but undergone a major renovation just a few years ago, it features plenty of shutdown area with a 1/4-mile drag strip with 750 feet of concrete and 30-feet wide lanes.
Dragway 42 and Summit Racing Equipment are teaming up to pay out $1,500 and a Summit gift card to the 5.50 Index winner. The top three in all Index classes receive the gift card with the payouts $1,000 for 6.00 Index, $750 for 6.50 Index and $500 for 7.0 Index.
Junior Dragsters are broken up in three classes — 7.90, 8.90 and 11.90. The champions receive $150, while the top three in 7.90 and 8.90, along with the top two in 11.90 get the Summit gift cards.
All class champions receive a gold card for the 2026 season, a plaque and champions jacket. The top eight in Top and Mod are eligible for a Mickey Thompson Tires and Wheels Run-Off Race. Champion in the index classes are eligible for 501 Performance points fund prizes.
