IHRA Announces 2025 Summit Team Finals Dates and Locations
Seven Exciting Events Set Across the country
HAMILTON, Ohio – The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) has officially released the schedule for the 2025 Summit Team Finals, a series of thrilling races that bring together some of the most talented drag racers in the country. These competitions, held at seven tracks across the South and Midwest, are among the most anticipated events of the year.
While the on-track action is a major draw, IHRA members consistently praise the sense of camaraderie and teamwork that define the Summit Team Finals. Representing their home tracks, racers not only compete for individual titles but also contribute to their teams’ overall success, making for an electrifying atmosphere.
2025 IHRA Summit Team Finals Schedule
Division 6 (Midwest) – Humboldt County Dragway (Aug. 21-23)
The 2025 Summit Team Finals will kick off at Humboldt County Dragway, where Thunder Valley Dragway will seek to defend its 2024 team championship. Individual champions from last year include:
Top: Brian Wood
Mod: Colton Bierle
Sportsman: Wade Lardy
Motorcycle: Mike Robbins
Jr. Dragster: Kaden Crawford
Division 5 (Thunder) – Muncie Dragway (Sept. 4-6)
Next, the action moves to Muncie Dragway in Indiana, a historic track that first opened on Easter Sunday in 1960. The track also enters the 2025 finals as the reigning team champion.
Defending individual winners include:

Sportsman: Jimmie Barrett
Motorcycle: Thomas Bixler
Jr. Dragster: Owen Zwetow
Division 2 (Heat Wave) – Holly Springs Motorsports (Sept. 11-14)
For the third consecutive year, Holly Springs Motorsports will host the Division 2 Summit Team Finals. Last year, Gleason Raceway Park claimed the team title. The 2024 individual champions were:

Mod: John Burleson
Sportsman: Chris Foster
Motorcycle: Billy Warren Jr.
Jr. Dragster: Gavin Jones
Division 3 (North Stars) – Quaker City Motorsports Park (Sept. 18-20)
Racers will then head to Quaker City Motorsports Park in Salem, Ohio, as the home track aims for an impressive fourth consecutive team championship. Defending individual winners include:
Top: Brittany Dumonte
Mod: Mark Miller
Sportsman: Joe Tharp Jr.
Motorcycle: Austin Stidham
Jr. Dragster: Kaiden Travis
Division 9 (Raiders) – Union Dragway (Sept. 25-28)
The Division 9 Summit Team Finals will take place at Union Dragway, where Darlington Dragway took the 2024 team title.
Individual winners from last year include:
Top: Adam Keir
Mod: Staten Nichols
Sportsman: Trey Sikes
Motorcycle: Todd Payne
Jr. Dragster: Rylan Williams
Division 4 (Renegades) – Xtreme Raceway Park (Sept. 25-27)
Taking place the same weekend as the Division 9 event, the Division 4 Summit Team Finals will be hosted by Xtreme Raceway Park. The home track is aiming for its third straight title, and last year’s individual champions were:
Top: Scott Wallace
Mod: Jake Howard
Sportsman: Robert Schoemer
Motorcycle: Chaz Landers
Jr. Dragster: Tate Hildebrandt
Notably, both Scott Wallace and Tate Hildebrandt secured victories in both the Division 4 Finals and the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Championships in 2024, making them racers to watch in the upcoming season.
Division 8 (South) – Rocket City Dragway (Oct. 2-4)
The 2025 Summit Team Finals will conclude at Rocket City Dragway, where Knoxville Dragway looks to defend its 2024 team championship. Individual winners from last year include:
