IHRA Junior Dragster Profile: Hunter Butcher
HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — We’re back in the Buckeye State as the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) highlights another great youth racer who appears to have a great future in the sport.
Hunter Butcher, a 12-year-old from Johnstown, Ohio, calls Pacemakers Outlaw Motorsports Park his home track. In his two years racing, Hunter has also driven his 2002 Mike Bos dragster at Dragway 42 and National Trail Raceway.
Beyond the race track, Hunter also plays baseball and loves music. He plays both the guitar and drums and counts band as his favorite class in school. His favorite parts of racing are meeting new people and spending the weekend with his racing friends and family.
After graduating from Junior Dragsters, Hunter plans to race a Chevy S-10 that he and his dad are now building. We have more young racers to be featured soon.
