Pete D’Agnolo made a last-minute decision to attend the IHRA Summit Sportsman National Championship weekend at Darlington Raceway and it paid off handsomely. The Rochester, N.Y. driver swept the Darlington races and added a third win later in the season at his home Empire Dragway to win the Super Stock championship.
