Michigan Racers Parlay Strong Runs into Round Prize Wins

MARTIN, Mich. — There were 24 racers who won round prizes during the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Sportsman Spectacular presented by Hagerty and Moser Engineering event at US 131 Motorsports Park.
The drivers with the best losing packages during the first three rounds of each day’s eliminations took home prizes.
 
Matt Brower in Top, Aaron Everage in Mod, Jim Klimp in Street and Conner Jensen in Junior Dragster were the recipients of a $100 Summit Racing Equipment gift certificate in round one on Saturday. 
 
Randy Norris in Top, Clinton Ray in Mod, Ken Hansen in Street and Conner Jensen who doubled his first-round prize were the recipients of a $100 Summit Racing Equipment gift certificate in round two on Saturday.
 
Round three prize winners included Shane Daugherty in Top, who was the recipient of a Jones Racing Products gift certificate. Tracy Mulhler in Mod was the recipient of an American Race Cars gift certificate. Kyle Wanamaker in Street received a Sunoco Race Fuel gift certificate. Bailey Burkhardt in Junior Dragster received a $100 Summit Racing Equipment gift certificate. 
 
Twelve more racers added their names to the list on Sunday.
 
Nathan Lash in Top, Joe Wright in Mod, Deegan Orr in Street and Alex Kish in Junior Dragster were the recipients of a $100 Summit Racing Equipment gift certificate.in round one on Sunday. 
 
Jeff McClure in Top, Scott Overkamp in Mod, Jake Huntington in Street and Leah Verner were the recipients of a $100 Summit Racing Equipment gift certificate in round two on Sunday. 
 
Round three prize winners included Christopher Taylor in Top, who was the recipipent of a Jones Racing Products gift certificate. Mark Boardman in Mod was the recipient of an American Race Cars gift certificate. Michael Kirbitz in Street was the recipient of a Sunoco Race Fuels gift certificate. Brooke Paquette in Junior Dragster received a $100 Summit Racing Equipment gift certificate. 
 
Racers can earn round prizes when the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Hagerty and Moser Engineering visits Darlington Dragway July 11-12.
