Left Lane: Ken Nelson No Time, Now #3
No Prior Run
Right Lane: Jon Oswell Runs 12.438/96.10, Now #2

Nelson broke something on the "Cool Bus" on his "dry hop." The bus turned left and Nelson was forced to hit the brakes to keep it out of the wall. Oswell ran unopposed, on the rear two tires and the bumper all the way down the quarter mile.
Right Lane: Jim "Jet" NeilsonRuns 7.419/215.17, Now #1
Best prior run: 7.445/216.76, Was #1
Nielson got the big jet Mercedes limousine to the other end a little quicker today, but the chutes failed and he went just off the end of the track. No big deal, but the jet limo doesn't have a reverse gear.
Right Lane: Bob Motz Runs 7.458/214.38, Now #2
No Prior Run
Motz made his first run of the weekend, the tower windows shaking and quaking as the big jet Kenworth did burner pops. Good opening run and the two big braking chutes worked as advertised.

The finale, as usual, is a crowd-pleaser, Motz and the big jet Kenworth truly "The King of Quake."

Qualifying Round 4 Results

4:13 PM Well, this was different...Oswell's "Ladder Truck 33" broke on the burnout and Nelson's "Cool Bus" turned hard left on the launch with a flat left rear tire. Right now, it looks like a used wheelstander lot out in front of the tower!
Right Lane: Jim "Jet" NeilsonRuns 7.501/208.04, Now #1
Best prior run: 7.393/215.72, Was #1
Nielson made his last run of the weekend and, best of all, the chutes worked this time.
Right Lane: Bob Motz Runs 7.537/208.39, Now #2
Best prior run: 7.416/214.76, Was #2
Motz closes the final exhibition round with an impressive display of horsepower - and the lingering smell of kerosene.
