Bogan picked up where he left off at Virginia with a first-round win here at
Red River.

Josey won the race when Hill left too soon and lit the red light.

Sharp broke at the line. Keener got the easy win and will face Bogan in round
two.

Mercure sat at line but made up the distance and won the race with a quicker
ET. Mercure has a bye in round two so he'll move on unless he fails to stage.

Josey pulled the front end way up in the air and made his best run of the
weekend. Adams kept it on the ground and won the race.

(L) Mike Keener ('69 Camaro) 0.498 10.237 129.26
Keener drew the red by two-thousandths of a second so Bogan will meet Mercure
in round three.

Bogan got off the line first and stayed ahead the whole way. Mike Adams has a
bye in this round, so it will be Bogan vs. Adams in the Top Stock finals.

Adams had a third round bye and made an easy run to get into the finals.

(L) Monty Bogan ('74 Corvette) 0.489 10.236 130.86
This is a repeat of the Virginia final round, but this time Bogan is in the
right lane and Adams in the left. At Virginia, Adams drew the red light and Bogan
won the race. This time, Bogan left too soon to light the red lamp and Adams got
the win. The red light may not have mattered anyway because Adams had his quickest
run of eliminations.
