Right Lane: Tony Pontieri 	Runs 6.567/215.56, Now #1
Nielsen shook the tires right off the starting line and got out of the groove, before he lifted. Pontieri was straight down the lane.
Left Lane: Raymond Commiso 	No Time, Now #4
Right Lane: Roy Wasko 		Runs 6.450/212.61, Now #1
Commiso left before the tree was activated. Wasko with a good looking pass here.
Left Lane: Brian Daniels 	Runs 6.726/215.10, Now #4
Right Lane: Kasey Janzen 	Runs 6.524/215.77, Now #2
Daniels with a lot of tire chatter and had the car completely sideways.

Janis with a lot of tire shake and clicked it off. Martin was spinning the tires past half track and still had a good looking pass.

Sinke was shutoff in the water. Mitch with a little move toward the centerline, but reeled it in and blasted on through for the number one spot.

Stott with a lot of tire shake right off the starting line and he clicked it off. Critchley was real loose off the starting line, but stayed with it for the number four spot.

Right Lane: Mike Castellana 	Runs 13.263/64.17, Now #14
Castellana launched into violent tire shake and clicked it off. Patterson launched hard and then drove through a bunch of tire shake around 200 feet.

Vick just blistered the tires on the launch. Hahn pedaled it around 330 feet and then drove it on through the quarter mile.

Jenkins with a nitrous explosion around 200 feet and Spiering with a good looking pass.

Athey lifted the left front tire as he launched hard and then around 300 feet he had a violent nitrous explosion. The front end of the car disintegrated with fiberglass flying everywhere. Stott with a good pass in the other lane to get into the top half of the field.

Daniels got out of the groove and real close to the guardrail, but stayed with it to get in the show. Lockwood with a good looking pass to get into the show and that bumped out Tony Pontieri.

These two did their burnouts and then were shut off because they found oil in Daniels lane. That might explain why he was so loose. Well after about a 50 minute clean up we are back.

The delay has allowed for the sun to get off the track and the track temperature has dropped about 20 degrees.

It paid off for Stott as he was straight down the groove with a great pass to take the number one spot. Patterson was out of the groove early.

Janis had a lot of tire shake in the earlier session, and was on a pretty good pass here until the engine started eating up pistons on the top end.

Under sunny skies with the temperature around 75 degrees, humidity is 65% and the barometer is 30.14 inches.

Spiering with a big starting line advantage and he then had violent tire shake and was close to the centerline and back toward the guardrail. That was all Nielsen needed as he had him chased down by 330 feet.

Vick was out of the gate first and was real loose using up all of his lane. Stott was straight down Broadway for the win.

They left together and then Stott just drove away as both cars were down the middle of their lanes.

Lockwood was out of the gate first and then chattered the tires and Janis caught him right before the 1000-foot mark and took the win by eight feet. Janis will have lane choice over Quain Stott.

Wasko with the big starting line advantage and enough power to hold on for the hole shot win.

Hahn was off the line first and had the power to hold off Billes. Billes with the quickest pass of the round, but is going home. Hahn will have lane choice over Wasko in the next round.

Critchley left first and then had violent tire shake and was real loose and from one side of his lane to the other and finally tagged the guardrail. Hoover was real loose and used up all of his lane, too. Hoover will take the win, but give up lane choice to Nielsen.

Stott with the starting line advantage and never looked back to take the win. Pittman was real loose off the starting line.

Janis with a big starting line advantage and then was real loose and finally collected the half track cones and Stott will move into the next round.

Hoover was out of the gate first and never looked back, he will give up lane choice to Quain Stott in the semifinal.

Wasko broke in the first round and was not able to make the call. Hahn with a great looking pass for the quickest pass of the session and the track mph record here.

Hoover with the starting line advantage and then just stretched it out from there to take home his second win of the year. Stott started to lose traction about 300 feet and pedaled it and apparently put some stuff out on the track.
