Left Lane: Jimmy Rector 	Runs 5.874/240.59, Now #1
Right Lane: Dale Brand 		Runs 11.781/71.40, Now #2
Brand launched with the front end about two feet inn the air and when it came down the car made a move toward the guardrail and he clicked it off. Rector with a great looking out of the box pass.
Left Lane: Larry Dobbs 		Runs 6.009/229.16, Now #2
Right Lane: Wayne Butler 	Runs 10.062/84.37, Now #3
Butler got real close to the centerline and he pedaled it to get it back into the lane and when he did he lost an engine.
Left Lane: Ray Drew 		No Time, Now #6

Drew launched with the front end in the air and made a quick move toward the guardrail and clicked it off. He coasted to a stop short of the finish line. Canister had a lot of tire shake right off the starting line and pedaled it and then drove it on through the quarter mile.

Atchison just wadded up the rear slicks as soon as he hit the throttle and shut it off.

Poyser got out of the groove and close tot the guardrail and clicked it off.

Thomas launched hard with a 0.957 second 60-foot time and keep it hooked up to take the number one spot. Munroe with a lot of tire shake right off the starting line, but he drove through it. Then the chutes did not come out and when he went into the sand the car flipped onto it's roof. Terry is out of the car and he is okay.

Newburg in for the broke Drew and he got the starting line advantage, but then Rector drove around him by 300 feet. Rector was eating up some pistons on the way to the win.

Crownhart did his job on the tree, but Cannister drove around him by the 330-foot mark to take the win.

Van Hauen is in for Terry Munroe as he can't make the show after putting the car on it's roof in the sand yesterday. Atchison broke something on burnout and trailed oil back to the starting line, so he got shut off. Van Hauen used up all of his lane to take the win, but will give up lane choice to Brand in the next round.

Rector is still undefeated for the season and this is a rematch from Shreveport. Brand with a big starting line advantage and has the lead until just past half track and that was when Rector took the lead. He moved on to win by about nine feet. His third win of the year.
