Miller hit the throttle for his burnout and it appeared he put a rod through
the pan, leaving a heavy trail of synthetic oil out to the 330-foot marker and
half-way back to the starting line before he stopped. The cleanup took a long
time, synthetic oil on concrete the combination the track crew fears the most.
After a lengthy cleanup, Silance made a solo pass.
