Estranda was real late on the tree giving Janzen the easy win.
 (W) Rick Sornberger ('68 Camaro)                 0.528     6.755 207.69
 (L) Kenny Rucker ('63 Corvette)                  0.478    (Broke)
Rucker with a big nitrous explosion as soon as he hit the throttle sending the hood flying high into the air.
 (W) Harry Rockwell ('92 Probe)                   0.508     6.692 185.84
 (L) Brian Daniels ('95 Camaro)                   0.474     6.987 209.39
Rockwell went in deep, but Daniels got the hole shot and then had to pedal it from severe tire shake. Rockwell got the win light.
 (W) Dave Tomasino ('69 Camaro)                   0.539     6.643 206.61
 (L) Carl Rossler ('55 Bel Air)                   0.440     6.820 198.47
Rossler was out of the gate first and had a lot of tire shake. Tomasino with severe tire shake on the launch and he pedaled it one time and then blasted on through for the win.

Janzen will get lane choice against Rockwell and Tomasino will get his pick against Sornberger in the semi-finals.

NORWALK, Ohio - SUMMIT FastNews - Results of round 2 eliminations in Lizzard Race Engines TS Q8 at the 24th annual MOPAR Parts World Nationals:

They left at the exact same time and from there on it was all Tomasino. Tomasino with a big puff of smoke around 1000 feet as the engine let go, but held on to win.

 (L) Harry Rockwell ('92 Probe)                   0.530     6.534 209.01
Rockwell out of the gate first and then got close to the centerline. Janzen with the power to chase him down and take the win. Margin of victory = 0.004 seconds (approximately 15 inches).
