 Jackson, SC - Although it is only the middle of
March, the Holley Team G Super Rod contingent has already been
demoralized, as Clint Lindsey sprints away with an ever-expanding points
lead after his third straight victory in three races. Lindsey
matched Justin Litchford's .023-over 6.423, but nudged him at the starting
line by one hundredth of a second to take the finish line by that
much. While the points battle is far from over, Lindsey is certainly
the story of the year so far as he maintains his perfect record in 2001.
