Left Lane: Ray Price No Time, Now #2
Right Lane: Steve Stordeur Runs 6.470/216.79, Now #1
Here we go with those crazies on two wheels. Stordeur had a great pass here and is fast enough to set a speed record if he can back it up.
Left Lane: Allen Peterson Runs 9.134/120.57, Now #2
Right Lane: Doug Vancil Runs 20.830/33.68, Now #3
Peterson stuttered right off the starting line, but stayed with it. Vancil had tire shake right off the starting line.
Left Lane: Steve Moore Runs 7.138/193.05, Now #3
Right Lane: Jay Turner Runs 6.604/197.62, Now #2
Moore clicked it off early. Turner was on a run until 1,000 feet then got off the throttle.
Left Lane: Mike Romine No Time, Now #8
Right Lane: Bill Furr Runs 6.620/204.20, Now #3
Romine broke the drive belt as soon as the light turned green.
Left Lane: Jim McClure No Time, Now #10
Right Lane: Johnny Mancuso Runs 6.715/197.74, Now #4
McClure broke a drive belt right off the starting line and coasted to a stop around 100 feet. Mancuso stays on the throttle all the way through the quarter mile for the number four spot.
Left Lane: Mark Conner Runs 8.323/128.18, Now #6
Right Lane: Bob Spina Runs 7.277/172.52, Now #5
Spina with the shortest wheel based Harley in competition this weekend. This means he carries the front wheel farther down the track than most everyone else.
