Left Lane: Dan Crownhart No Time, Now #1
Right Lane: Dale Brand No Time, Now #2
Crownhart broke on the burnout around the 330-foot mark, so they had to shut Brand off he will get another chance later in the field.
Left Lane: Rob Atchison Runs 6.144/228.77, Now #1
Right Lane: Santo Volpe Runs 7.195/137.82, Now #2
Volpe got out of shape just pass half track and clicked it off.
Left Lane: Jim Lape Runs 6.022/235.47, Now #2
Right Lane: Von Smith Runs 5.948/236.05, Now #1
Smith launched hard with the front tires hike up until about the 200-foot mark.
Left Lane: Rich Krohn Runs 6.193/231.56, Now #5
Right Lane: Billy Gibson Runs 6.013/234.57, Now #2
Krohn got out of the groove around half track, but reeled it back in.
Left Lane: Terry Munroe Runs 0.000/0.00, Now #5

Thomas knocked out the timing blocks on the top end, disqualifying his pass. Munroe will get a rerun, because of Thomas knocking the timing block into his lane.

Right Lane: Tony Bogolo Runs 7.471/140.24, Now #10
Weney was skating around before half track, but stayed with it. Bogolo had a lot of smoke coming out of it on the top end.

Newburgh had tire shake right off the starting line.

Girot got out of the groove and off the throttle. Rector with a good looking pass and only the second driver to break into the 5-second zone.

Both cars were bouncing and dancing all the wall down the track.

Right Lane: Dale Brand No Time, Now #18
Brand with his chance at the quarter mile now. He launched hard, but then got out of the groove and collected the 330-foot mark cone. He did a great job of then keeping it off the wall.
Left Lane: Terry Munroe Runs 6.219/221.45, Now #11
This Munroe's rerun after Thomas knocked the cones out during his first pass.

Brand attempting to write the check to himself as his company Co-Line put up the $1000 for low qualifier, and he laid down a great looking pass to take over the number one spot.

Hunt made a move to the wall and he reeled it back in. Ruda with a great looking pass and his best of the weekend to get in the show. That bumped out Andy Kelly.

Kelly just got knock out of the show and this will be his last shot to get in the show. He did it with an outstanding run to get back in the show.

Brand out of the gate first and kept it glued all the way down the 1320. Athey got out of the groove and made a move toward the wall.

Krohn drilled Munroe on the light and had the power to hold off the quicker, hard charging Munroe.

Smith with a slight starting line advantage, but stretched it out from there. Both cars made moves toward the centerline, and Ruda finally lifted.

Volpe with the starting line advantage and then he ran his quickest and fastest passes in this car to take the win light.

Butler left first, but had some tire shake. It did not matter as Brand had another straight run.

Santo won that one on a hole shot.

They left together, but from then on all Krohn could do was watch Gibson drive away for the win.

This is a great match up with number one and two in points. Smith with the big hole shot and he needed it all. Weney almost chased him down.
