Right Lane: Dale Brand No Time, Now #2
Crownhart broke on the burnout around the 330-foot mark, so they had to shut
Brand off he will get another chance later in the field.
Left Lane: Rob Atchison Runs 6.144/228.77, Now #1
Right Lane: Santo Volpe Runs 7.195/137.82, Now #2
Volpe got out of shape just pass half track and clicked it off.
Left Lane: Jim Lape Runs 6.022/235.47, Now #2
Right Lane: Von Smith Runs 5.948/236.05, Now #1
Smith launched hard with the front tires hike up until about the 200-foot
mark.

Krohn got out of the groove around half track, but reeled it back in.

Both cars were bouncing and dancing all the wall down the track.

Brand with his chance at the quarter mile now. He launched hard, but then
got out of the groove and collected the 330-foot mark cone. He did a great job of
then keeping it off the wall.
