order following run:
Left Lane: Ken Nelson Runs 12.923/96.72, Now #1
The "Cool Bus" opens the show car portion of the
afternoon with a full-quarter wheelie.
Left Lane: Toby Ermintraut Runs 7.596/202.79, Now #2
Right Lane: Jack Dustman Runs 4.927/302.72, Now #1
The jet dragster show was a drop-kick for Dustman when the
afterburner fuel system on Ermintraut's engine failed.
Left Lane: Bob Motz No Time, Now #0
Right Lane: Bob Motz Runs 7.498/215.00, Now #2
The big jet-powered Kenworth truck sent the beer garden
spectators running - it's beside the right lane waterbox!
Motz made a crowd-pleasing run with his best speed yet for
the big truck, blowing everything not nailed down (and a
few things that were) away from the track.
