NORWALK, OH (January 27, 2004) -- The Division 4 Renegades will have some younger faces at the Mr. Gasket Pro-Am Tour events this season. The Junior Dragster category will compete at six Mr. Gasket Pro-Am Tour events, with the overall champions in Beginner, Advanced and Masters earning a Mr. Gasket Pro-Am Tour championship iron man, a Gold Card good for Division 4 Pro-Am events, and a $1,500 savings bond.

"The track operators got together in Division 4 and presented us with a pilot program to include the Junior category in their events," said Director of Race Operations Skooter Peaco. "We constructed a program for the three Junior classes that mirrors our other Pro-Am classes. Each of the three Junior classes will pay the same entry fee and compete for the same Mr.Gasket Pro-Am Iron Man awards as our other classes. They will also compete for the same year-end championship package as our other classes. We all hope this will add to the flavor of the Pro-Am events in Division 4 and be a successful program for everyone.

The Junior category will compete at all scheduled Division 4 Mr. Gasket Pro-Am Tour events, except Tuscola Dragway. That date conflicts with a large Junior event in that area. The Junior classes will be claiming their best 5 finishes of the 6 scheduled events to determine our end of the year champions.

West Texas Raceway Park April 30-May 2
Lone Star Raceway Park May 28-30
San Antonio Raceway July 2-4
Tulsa International Raceway July 16-18
Red River Raceway Aug 6-8
