Beard rolls to MIR with Duck Tape

Madison, OH- The 2003 Hooter's IHRA season is
winding down and drivers across the land have
landed near the national's capitol for the President's
Cup Nationals. Michael Beard and the Duck Tape/
Loctite sponsored Stock Eliminator G/CM Dodge
Dart Sport are among the competitors.
 Beard
has been blessed with an unforeseeable rookie
season in IHRA Stock. Thanks to car owner Terry
Knott, Beard has appeared in a pair of national
event and four Pro-Am final rounds thus far.
"We hoped to do well on the Divisional level,"
explained Beard. "Terry maintains a fantastic
car and for that I am thankful. No one on our
team dreamed the season would be this strong.
We never intended to make it to this many national
events."
With the backing of Duck Tape and Loctite, Beard
and Knott have been on the ride of their lives
traveling the IHRA circuit. As it stands Beard
looks to win the 2003 National Championship and
the Division 1 Stock crowns in just his first
full IHRA season.
Beard serves professionally as a Graphic Designer
at Staging Light Motorsports in Madison, Ohio.
But to catch him these days you need to be trackside
at an IHRA facility. So look for the Duck Motorsports
team this weekend at MIR!
