Derek Lewis, from Longview, Texas, claimed Saturday’s victory over Tim Ray as Lewis had a 7.139 on a 7.14 elapsed time at 93.63 mph as Ray broke out by .006 at the line. In Sunday’s race Austin Davis, from Frankston, Texas, bested Dustin Bradford in a tremendous race. Davis had a .041 package, producing a .028 reaction time and a 5.913 on a 5.90 dial at 116.10 mph, while Bradford had a .029 light and a 5.412 on a 5.40 dial at 125.70. Both drivers took home $5,000 to win, with the runner-up taking home $1,500.
