SPONSOR/ PRODUCT ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Accurate Image Decals/Decals or Racing T-Shirts
Racers are required to spend a minimum $450.00 per car and placement of contingency decals visible on both sides of race car for entire event. This can be purchase of lettering or racing T-shirts.
Altronics Inc. (all products)
Applicants must be registered prior to event for the product they are claiming.
Must sign an advertising release, and proof of purchase required.
2 Un-altereed decals-one on each side of the car in a clearly visible location for entire event.
The product must be purchased within 3 years from the date of the event.

Amalie / Race Oils
Amalie requires that racers run the appropriate decal, unaltered on both sides of vehicle, and be registered with Amalie Oil before claims are paid. Racer must purchase 5 cases of oil per current calendar year prior to claiming contingency payout. A proof of purchase will be required along with photos of the Amalie Oil decals on said racing vehicle. Contingency applicants must register in advance by returning a contingency registration form along with proof of purchase to Amalie, this is mandatory for 2008. The registration form can be located online at www.amaliestore.com. No sponsored teams will be eligible for contingency postings.

Amalie Oil Contingency Requirements.
Amalie Oil is honored to be part of the IHRA contingency program. We would like to thank the loyal patrons who continue to support Amalie Oil and our complete product line of lubricants.
It is mandatory for 2008 that the Contingency Registration is filled out before claiming any contingency payout. The registration form can be located online at www.amaliestore.com.
Effective for 2008, Amalie Oil participants must purchase a minimum of 5 cases of oil (this can be any combination of products, for your personal auto, toter/motorhome, pit vehicle etc.) per current calendar year. This purchase must be made prior to claiming contingency payout. A proof of purchase will be required along with photos of the Amalie oil decals on said racing vehicle.

Decals can be picked up at the IHRA tech trailer or send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the above-mentioned address. Envelope size needs to be at least 10 ½” x 5”.

Amalie Oil can be purchased online at the Amalie Oil Store located at
www.amaliestore.com or at any Amalie Oil Retailer, Participating IHRA Track Pro Shops, the IHRA National Event Midway or the Torco Race Fuels trailer.
ATI Performance Products/Super Case-Transmission-Torque Converter
Proof of purchase required. Verifiable use of the product during the entire event and un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car.
Autometer/Gauges
Minimum of three gauges required. Un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car.
Braswell Carburetion/ B-7520 Carburetor
Contingency paid on B-7520 carburetor only. Un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car.
Brodix Aluminum Blocks and Aluminum Heads
Un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car for entire event.
BTE Racing/Torque Converter, Planetary Gear Set
Decal must be standard size, displayed on both sides of car. NO stacking for multiple products. Proof of purchase including a copy of the invoice and the serial number are required for payment. You must be the original purchaser of the product from BTE or a BTE jobber or W.D. All products must be purchased and/or freshened or re-certified by BTE within 24 months from the date of the event. Contingency postings will not be paid on products purchased at “swap meets” or through other “second hand” dealings. Release forms for the product and advertising must be supplied to BTE from the Owner and/or Driver. Must agree to use of car/driver in advertising.
CSR/Aluminum Flexplate 2007 or newer
Must be original owner of CSR Aluminum Flexplate. Proof of purchase/warranty card must be on file prior to event win. CSR Platinum Flexplate decals on both sides of car during the entire event. No overlapping or trimming of decals.
CSR/Platinum Pro Series Starter (2001-2008)
Must be original owner of CSR Platinum Pro Series Starter. Proof of purchase/warranty card must be on file prior to event win. CSR Platinum Pro Series Starter decals on both sides of car during the entire event. No overlapping or trimming of decals. CSI product decals will NOT be accepted.
CSR/Water Pump (2003-2008) 5 years or newer
Must be original owner of CSR Water Pump. Proof of purchase/warranty card must be on file prior to event win. CSR Platinum Water Pump decals on both sides of car during the entire event. No overlapping or trimming of decals. CSI product decals will NOT be accepted.
CVR/Protorque Maximum 3.1hp Starter/Proflo Water Pump
Must be original owner of products and must have mailed in a correctly filled out contingency/owner registration card to CVR. Proof of purchase must be on file prior to event win. Racer must have current, unaltered decals, visible on both sides of car for entire event.
Coan Engineering/Torque Converter
Requires proof of purchase, serial number, and advertising release. Racer must have correct, unaltered decals, visible on both sides of car for entire event.
Coan Engineering/Automatic Transmission
Requires proof of purchase, serial number, and advertising release. Racer must have correct, unaltered decals, visible on both sides of car for entire event.
COMP Cams
No modified, cut or stacked decals permitted. Must provide proof of purchase.
Computech Systems, Inc. /Race Air Weather Station
Must have product, Proof of purchase, signed advertising release and product must be purchased within 5 years of event.
Computech Systems, Inc. /EGT Plus Exhaust Gas Temp. Monitor
Must have product, Proof of purchase, signed advertising release and product must be purchased within 5 years of event.
Computech Systems, Inc. /DataMaxx Data Logger
Must have product, Proof of purchase, signed advertising release and product must be purchased within 5 years of event.
Crane Cams/Rocker Arms & Camshaft
Proof of purchase and un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car. No Stacking of decals permitted.
Edelbrock (all products)
Proof of purchase and un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car.
Russell ProClassic Hoses- Must have at least 50% coverage of vehicle with Russell ProClassic hose, hose ends and fittings.
Flatout Gaskets/Gaskets
Minimum purchase of $100.00 (per car) after Jan.1, 2008. May require proof of purchase plus YELLOW Flatout Gaskets decal un-altered and visible on both sides of car for entire event.
Goodyear/Drive Tires
Minimum 15” decal visible on both sides of car, preferably above drive tires.
Greg Weld Wheels/ Set of 4 Racing Wheels
Proof of purchase and un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car for entire event.
Harland Sharp/Rocker Arms
Proof of purchase is required. Product must have been purchased within the last 5 years. For example product must have been purchased during or after the year 2003. Product and un-altered decals, visible on both sides of car.
Hogan’s Racing Manifolds Inc.
Proof of purchase and un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car for entire event.
Holley Performance Products/ Fuel Injection, Fuel Pump, HP Carburetor, Earl's Plumbing, Hooker Headers, NOS Nitrous System, Weiand or Holley Intake Manifold
Hooker Headers must have Hooker tag attached for eligibility.
Holley Carburetor must be Model 4150, 4160, 4500 four barrel or 3X2 (TriPower) Model 2300. Proform main bodies (Quick Fuel Technology) are NOT Holley. Holley Main Body, Throttle body (except Model 4500) and Fuel Bowls MUST be used to be eligible.
Earl's plumbing- Earl’s is stamped on fittings. Must have at least 50% coverage of vehicle with Earl's hose, hose ends and fittings.
NOS fogger or plate system requires complete system (bottle, solenoids, nozzles or plate). Racer must have un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car for each product claimed.
Hoosier/ Drive Tires
Product and un-altered decals, visible on both sides of car, preferably above drive tires.
Howell Printing/ Hero Cards, Pit Bike, 4-wheeler
Items must be purchased during current year (2007). Product and un-altered decal, visible on both sides of the car.
Hughes Performance/Transmission & Torque Converter
Transmission Only: Proof of purchase required.
Un-altered decals, visible on both sides of the car for entire event for both products.
Impact Racing/Helmets and Fire Suits
Product and un-altered decals, visible on both sides of car for entire event.
Jet-Hot/ Header Coating
Headers on vehicle must have been coated by Jet-Hot within 36 months prior to the event. Un-altered decals on both sides of vehicle for entire event
K&N Filters/Air Filter
To be eligible, competitor must have a K&N air filter on the engine air intake (carburetor, fuel injection, ect.) of the vehicle. The K&N filter must be functional. The competitor must have a 10 ½”x3 ¼” die cut decal affixed to each side of vehicle, NON-ALTERED! Crankcase ventilation filters or other ventilation filters are not acceptable.
Kestrel Pocket Weather Meters
Only valid on Kestrel 4000 unit. The unit must have been purchased in the last 3 years. Racer must present proof of purchase and must register with Kestrel prior to event:. M&R Products/Seat Belts
M&R Seat Belts must be installed in driver’s seat of car that is racing. Racer must display (2) 6” x 6” 2007/2008 M&R/IHRA contingency decals. They must be unaltered and located on both sides of race car in a clearly visible location for entire event.
M&R Products/Safety Equipment & Tie Downs
$100 purchase (excluding seat belts) after October 1, 2007 from dealer w/ proof of purchase or purchased directly from M&R store or on-line @ mrproducts.com. Racer must display (2) 6” x 6” 2007/2008 M&R/IHRA contingency decals. They must be unaltered and located on both sides of race car in a clearly visible location for entire event.
Manley Performance Products
Steel Connecting Rods - proof of purchase must be dated within 3 years of purchase date.
Valve Springs - proof of purchase dated within 2 years of purchase date.
1. Manley product must be used in competing car.
2. Product SPECIFIC decals, visible on both sides of car for entire event.
3. Proof of purchase must be faxed, mailed or emailed to Manley by any winner/runner-up in order to claim contingency.
Mark Williams Enterprises/Axle
Vehicle must have (a) MW hi-torque flange axles and contingency decals affixed to both sides of race care throughout entire event, or (b) MW masterline flange axles and contingency decals affixed to both sides of race care throughout entire event, or (c) a MW complete full floater assembly and contingency decals affixed to both sides of race car throughout entire event. A full floater assembly consists of the following parts: hubs, spindles, brake calipers, rotors, double spline axles, driveplates and covers. The use of MW floater shafts with other manufacturer hub assemblies does not meet contingency requirements. Visual verification of flange type axles: flange type axles must have MW nameplates attached. Axle nameplates must be clearly visible through the wheel centers. As a result, wheel center caps may not be used. Car driver/owner required to submit detailed contingency verification information including, but not limited to: Serial numbers, date and place of purchase, dimensions, car year, make and model.
Mark Williams Enterprises/Disc Brake Kit
Must have complete 70000 series MW disc brake kit with MW calipers. Display of decals on both sides of race care through entire event. Must supply proof of purchase and supply identifying number in casting. Visual verification: Disc brake kit must have MW aluminum calipers with MW logo cast on outside of both calipers. MW decal must be displayed on both sides of car. Painted facsimile of decal is not acceptable. Car driver/owner required to submit detailed contingency verification information including, but not limited to: Serial numbers, date and place of purchase, dimensions, car year, make and model.
Mark Williams Enterprises/Drive shaft
Must have complete MW Drive shaft (with trans. Yoke). Display of decals on both sides of race car through entire event. Must supply proof of purchase and supply identifying serial numbers. Visual verification: Drive shaft must have MW aluminum decal with MW serial number on outside of shaft. MW decal must be displayed on both sides of car. Painted facsimile of decal is not acceptable. Car driver/owner required to submit detailed contingency verification information including, but not limited to: Serial numbers, date and place of purchase, dimensions, car year, make and model.
Mopar/ Cylinder Heads
Must be used on a Mopar Engine, and un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car.
Mopar/ 8 ¾” Aluminum Carrier
Must be used with a Mopar Engine. Must provide proof of purchase and un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car.
Mopar/Ignition
Must be used with a Mopar Engine, and un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car.
Mopar/ Valve Covers
Must be used on a Mopar Engine, and un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car.
Next Generation Power/ Diesel Generator
Product registration upon purchase required. Un-altered decals, visible on both sides of the car for entire event.
Optima Trailers & Motorhomes
Car must display Optima decals on both sides of car.
Copy of current state registration showing matching names of car & trailer owner must be submitted to Pace w/ info (#5) and photos (#4)

Ram Clutches/ Clutch
To be eligible for contingency, winner/ runner-up must display an unaltered decal on both sides of the car for the entire event and must complete the RAM contingency form. Must provide proof of a minimum purchase of $500 or more in the last 12 months. Form will be mailed to participant after verification is received from IHRA.
Silver Crown, LLC/Silver Crown S-series & Pony Express
To receive decals and be eligible for contingency, racer must be registered with Silver Crown, LLC prior to event win/runner-up. Un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of vehicle for entire event.
Simpson Helmets
Racer must display Simpson and RH/2 decals on both sides of car, for entire event. Simpson Helmet must be purchased from RH/2 at a National Event and have product registered with RH/2.
Sonny’s Racing Engines, Inc./Complete Engines
Engine decals must be on front fender or hood scoop
Sonny’s Racing Engines, Inc./Cylinder Heads
Cylinder head decals must be on front fender or hood scoop.
Spaghetti Menders/ Complete Race Car Wiring
Must have complete race car wiring system with battery cable kit. Un-altered decals on both sides of vehicle
Stroud Safety/Helmets-Fire Suits
Proof of purchase is required for all products. Helmets and fire suits must be present at the time of contingency verification. A contingency card must be on file at Stroud for all products to be claimed.
Helmet- Must be a Snell 05 or newer
Fire Suits- Must be purchased within the last 5 years. (Ex. must be purchased after Jan.1, 2003)

Torco Race Fuels
Torco Race Fuels, Inc. will pay all posted contingencies, once a race team provides proof of purchase and has the approved 2008 Torco decals on race vehicle. RACERS, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO OBTAIN A RECEIPT AND PROPER DECALS, FOR YOUR PURCHASE. Sponsored drivers are not eligible for contingency postings. IHRA will no longer carry Torco decals; you must get them directly from Torco at time of purchase.
Toyo Tires/Drive Tires
Un-altered decals, visible on both sides of vehicle for entire event.
Trick Cable and Switch/Custom Switch Panels
Pro Stock, Pro Mod and Top Sportsman are required to purchase a minimum of an 8 switch panel.
TD, SS, STK, QR, SR, HR, and ET are required to purchase a minimum 6 switch panel. Unaltered decals, visible, on both sides of vehicle for entire event
Twist N Shout Custom Paint
Must be original purchaser of paint job. Racer must have painted logo of Twist and Shout or un-altered decals from Twist and Shout on car for the entire event.
Vintage Trailers/Race Car Hauler
Racers must own a Vintage Trailers Car Hauler. The cargo line of trailers does not qualify for contingency. “Vintage Trailers” Ltd. Has issued a new contingency decal that must be on all cars wishing to collect contingency for the racing season. Decals will be available through, IHRA Tech, through e-mail at www.vintage.ts@directway.com or call 800-233-5455 and the receptionist at Vintage will mail them to you. The old contingency decals will not be accepted for contingency anymore.
