Along with several new classes and a few “firsts” this weekend at the Palm Beach Nitro Jam in West Palm Beach, Fla. the IHRA unveiled another new member to its family on Wednesday – at least for a little while.

IHRA officially unveiled its annual Summit SuperSeries giveaway golf cart on Wednesday and will have it on display throughout the weekend and at all Nitro Jam events this season leading up to the Summit SuperSeries Championship at the season finale at Virginia Motorsports Park in October.

“Ken Greene really went above and beyond for our No Box winner this year. The cart is so nice I really hate that we have to give it away at the end of the year,” said Kurt Oberholtzer, Director of Contingency and Inside Sales. “I think anyone would be proud to have this cart at the track or around town. It is truly top of the line.”

The custom cart is done in an IHRA scheme and is provided this season by Ken Greene of the Fayette Golf Car Company in Uniontown, Pa. It features a carbon fiber dash, an AM/FM CD player with a four-speaker system, aluminum wheels, turn signals and lights, an extended roof, custom embroidery, custom seats and a racing wheel.

The cart will be on display at all 10 Nitro Jam events this season before being handed over to the winner of the Summit SuperSeries No Box class at the World Finals in Virginia.
