At times it was competition at its best, witnessed by large crowds under sunny skies, and at other times it, well, wasn’t. But in a sport where only the strong survive, the IHRA, its fans, and its racers once again proved that they are the best in the business.
Wrapping up the year on the sportsman side of the coin were Summit Team Finals events at Alabama International Dragway (Heat Wave West), Farmington Dragway (Patriots), and Rockingham Dragway (Raiders). In addition, the rained-out Renegades Division event at Dallas Raceway Park was rescheduled for Redline Raceway.
