Maryland International Raceway will once again host the All Junior Dragsters Team Finals on July 31-August 2, 2009.  IHRA, NHRA and independent tracks will send up to 3 teams of ten junior dragsters to compete for individual and team awards. Teams from MIR, Richmond Dragway, Pittsburgh Raceway, Capitol Raceway, Beaver Springs Dragway, Greer Dragway, Northeast Dragway, New England Dragway, Orlando Motorsports and last year’s team championship winner, Sumerduck Dragway will all be competing. 
“Last year's first ever Jr. Dragster Team Finals was the most exciting and fun Junior race ever held at MIR.  Because of that, for 2009 the Jr Team Finals is now a 3-day event featuring a $1,000 CASH Gamblers race and a Test & Tune on Friday night.  But don't worry kids I will still have my water gun on Friday night, BEWARE!!” said Royce Miller, track operator of Maryland International Raceway.

Pine Valley Raceway will host Texas’ first All Junior Team Finals on August 8-9, 2009. Edinburgh International Raceway, Abilene Dragstrip, Wichita Falls Raceway, Redline Raceway, Little River Raceway, Pine Valley Dragway, Angleton Raceway, Houston Raceway and Desert Thunder are some of the Texas tracks participating in this event. Other tracks coming from surrounding states are Thunder Valley in Oklahoma, State Capitol Raceway in Louisiana and Hobbs Motorsports Park in New Mexico. 
Molly Hall, track operator of Pine Valley Raceway had this to say about the event, “We are very excited to be hosting this event and are looking forward to having the families at Pine Valley Raceway.”
