The O'Reilly Thunder Jam arrives at beautiful Farmington Dragway this Saturday, August 9th, with an added twist...eight of the region's best Pro Mod cars will meet "man to man" to determine the winner of the first "Clash of the Carolina Titans." 
 
"Farmington is Pro Mod country and the fans in the Triangle are excited to see these eight dominant drivers compete for the championship," stated O'Reilly Thunder Jam Operations Manager Jim Marchyshyn. "You can be sure The Farm will be rocking Saturday night."
 
Scheduled to appear in the "Clash of the Carolina Titans" Pro Mod race are Rickie Smith, Steve Vick, Dale Brinsfield, Ken Ragenthal, Thomas Dunford, Josh Chester, Kenny Rucker and Randy Weatherford"
 
"And don't be surprised to see some other heavy Pro Mod hitters show up," adds Marchyshyn.  "The word is getting out that Farmington is the place to race and be seen Saturday night.
 
In addition to the "Clash of the Carolina Titans", the O'Reilly Thunder Jam presented by Torco Race Fuels and Toyota Tundra trucks features the 20,000 horsepower "X-Treme" Machine Jet Semi truck and the world's only wheelstanding school bus, "The Cool Bus".
 
You've got to see the "X-Treme" Machine in person to believe it....have you ever seen a jet shoot 20 foot flames?  You will at the Thunder Jam!

Gates open at 2 p.m.with sportsman and three rounds of Pro Mod qualifying at 2:30 p.m.  The O'Reilly Thunder Jam begins promptly at 7 p.m.
