Street Warriorz this Saturday in Louisville set for the biggest in history. Oh yeah, it's also cheaper this year.

POSTED: 2008-07-08 09:19:00  EMAIL TO A FRIEND  PRINT VIEW

We’ve done a lot of growing with this series… It’s shifted and morphed and grown into something that will draw some really amazing crowds in different parts of the country.  It’s still no wonder that Ohio Valley Dragway, outside Louisville, will always be one of the most hardcore venues we go to.  The last couple of years, you couldn’t fit another vehicle in the joint… and now, we’re planning on packing them in even tighter.

Be ready for a wicked Guitar Hero Competition, the new King of the Street and KOTS BIKES! runs and more promotions and added value than you can shake a stick at.  We’re also working on a couple of cars for the Redline Challenge, and this one should include some red-hot exhaust, redline-tickling, rod throwing noise.

Here is the deal on the KOTS (King of the Street).  Your ride must be STREET LEGAL.  That’s it.  As long as the state has issued a license plate and a current tag, you are in. We are looking for the baddest street cars in Bristol to run heads up for the trophy and the title.  We want 32 cars.  We want all makes and models.  Guys and girls.  It is an quarter mile run for glory.  It is street racing, so, that makes things negotiable.  If you have a 4 cylinder pumping go fast juice, and you end up matched against a big block, you might want to talk to your competitor and ask for a few car lengths.  We are going to leave that up to you, THE RACER!

You win, you stay in.  You lose, you go back to the fun and grudge racing.  We are NOT looking for a debate.  We are not looking for WHINERS.  This is the same as a late night session on the deserted river road, only this is LEGAL and SAFE.  No cops, no tickets.  If you have a car that you feel is fast, if you feel that YOU should be King of the Street, you need to participate.  So, get the word out.  All of the underground web sites, message boards and chat rooms should be humming.

The Street Warriorz series is the most hardcore street racing series in the nation.  The parties are based around fans as participants in the event as opposed to spectators.  Non-elimination grudge racing gives the opportunity for anyone in the venue to street race their street-legal cars without tickets or cops. United States Auto Sound Competition has been involved with the series from its inception in 2005 and is the draw for the show car scene, involving some of the most respected clubs in the country and involves local organizations in up-to 29 category shows with trophies for the top three in each.  The Outlaw SPL portion of the show is one of the most explosive new creations in the show circuit.  This car stereo competition is the basis of all bragging rights in car audio and proves the hardcore reputation as the organization that’s “breaking glass and taking names.”

The party will take over 21 cities in the 2008 season including some of the hottest dragstrips and venues.  With live DJ’s, sponsor midway, burnout contests, and stage shows including the Barely Legal Bikini Contest all added into the mix, the underground of car culture has finally been given a venue for hardcore competition.
