It was a rainy one at Motor Mile Dragway, but the party will go on at a Street Warriorz event, especially at Motor Mile, until we run out of beer.  Here's what Scott "Losing Bets" Heaton, our rain-soaked announcer had to say:

If there’s one thing to be learned here, it’s that the party never stops at Street Warriorz until the crowd says the parties over.  No matter how hard the crew at Motor Mile has to work to make it happen… IT WILL HAPPEN.

It has been raining since the gates opened.  Four hours later, and the sun has come out.  The legendary Motor Mile Dragway has seen action even though it has been raining, the track officials had a Turtle race.  With a 20 second dial in, the cars and trucks slowed their way to the finish line.  Not only were there Turtle races, there was also 2 rounds of push racing.  Several guys, who never walk let alone run any farther than the refrigerator, came out and jogged to the 330 foot mark pushing a lucky soul behind the steering wheel. 

A Chevy Cavalier and a Nissan pickup (with no motor) were in the final, with the Chevy getting the win.  The Nissan had a chance at the win, but was hindered after a push mate went down on the slippery surface.  The Nissan boys had more wounds to lick than just the loss.  The pushers stopped at the finish line, leaving the driver and 1 buddy to push the truck to the top of the shut down and then the ¼ mile back to his pit stall.  There just was no love for the loser.  The stage has been going none stop, with DJ Crooky pulling out all the stops on the stage activities.  The crowd has been super involved all evening long, but you can tell they are chomping at the bit to see some RACING!!

The rain has finally stopped.  Now the track crew is working as hard as possible to get the track into race shape.  It is 9:30 pm local time.  This could be an all nighter.  But, when you’re partying, who pays attention to the time?  It is all about the life style and expressing your self.   This is STREET WARRIORZ!!  The party has been going non stop over at the main stage.  DJ Crooky and Josh have kept the crowd entertained with more stage shows than I have seen in 4 years on the Street Warriorz tour.
The KOTS and KOTS BIKES! was a HUGE SUCCESS!!  The 8 car field and the 8 bike field was stellar.  In the KOTS the race was set on an 11.1 to a 11.7 second run.  The field was tightly packed and side by side races were the theme of the event.  In the end it was all imports.  A Honda Civic and an Acura Integra made the main event.  In the end the Acura went to victory lane.  A gnarly Chevy Nova was the big winner in the burn out contest.
