The Summit All Star run off race will be contested on April 19, 2008 during the Spring Nationals at Rockingham Dragway. The field is set with the top eight points finishers from 2007 in each of the seven sportsman classes. Competitors will run for cash prizes and bragging rights. The Saturday night action will include more than a dozen past and present World Champions as well as some of the best sportsman competitors in IHRA history. The winner of each class will be taking home a cash prize of $5,000, runner up $1,500, Semi’s $750 and $500 quarters.

"We're excited to recognize the best of the best in sportsman racing by crowning the first IHRA Summit Racing Equipment All-Stars this season."
