Bradenton backs up another huge turnout.
| POSTED: 2007-04-21 22:58:00 |

It seemed as though the streets were alive with anticipation. The scene surrounding Tampa flowed toward Bradenton Motorsports Park like never before. With a turnout number of spectators and participants, the South used it’s final chance to take over the strip Street Warriorz style before the series moves North.
The Kumho Street Warriorz series split its two Florida events by almost 2 months, giving the scene a change to breath before diving back in. With an event at Immokalee Regional Raceway to kick off the 2007 season, the cult ownership of the southern show scene was building. For those who missed the February event got another chance at Bradenton, and for those who experienced the party, Bradenton was worth the second trip.

The local street racers from Bradenton Motorsports Park were ready to claim ownership of the strip, showing hours before the advertised gate time, willing to wait for the first rip down the notoriously well-prepped track. The crew at Bradenton is one of the best in the business, and keeping tabs on the track and the experience of the racers seemed like a pleasure more than a duty.
Dick Rossberg made the trip down to prove his insanity. Any man who builds a jet powered dragster has got a speed craving to work out, but with 310+mph under your belt, you’ve got to have something to reach for. It’s always a thrill to see one of Dick’s creations, and the Thriller Power Boats Jet Dragster proved a worthy show for the crowds.

With Napa Auto Parts on hand to work with their local racers, they upheld their long-time support for amateur racing. Although Napa has long been a provider of the highest quality parts available, the true passion for their customers is what keeps them coming back. Rent N Roll, one of the most down to earth suppliers of performance aftermarket accessories was the center of attention on the midway. With their products proudly displayed for all to see, they offered up a set of 17” wheels with Kumho rubber at raffle.
Bradenton Motorsports and the Kumho Street Warriorz series have built an amazing show in the past two seasons, and it’s hard to see how the Florida Street Scene could live without it in the futureEVENT RECAPS
