Andy Hambright passes

Samuel Anderson "Andy" Hambright, Jr., 68, of Blacksburg, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at his home. Hambright was a tech inspector with both the IHRA and NHRA.
He is the husband of Patricia Queen Hambright and the son of S. A. and Elizabeth Nolen Hambright, Sr. of Blacksburg, SC. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Grover and was retired from Regional Utilities of Spartanburg.
In addition to his wife, Patsy, and his parents, he is survived by two sons, Samuel A. "Skip" Hambright, III, of Blacksburg, and Chris Moore and wife, Courtney, of Six Mile, SC; two daughters, Sharon Barrett and husband, Matthew, of Sauk City, WI, and Patricia Willis and husband, Lee, of Blacksburg, SC; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Barrett of Sauk City, WI, Kasi Jolly of Spartanburg, Jerrod Willis and Jacob Willis of Blacksburg, and Charlotte Moore of Six Mile, SC; and three sisters, Lynn Davis of Shelby, NC, Carol Price of Blacksburg, SC, and Karen Moss of Spartanburg, SC.
A Celebration Of Life Service will be held Friday, December 14, 2012, 3:00 PM, at First Baptist Church of Grover with Dr. Paul Sorrells, Dr. John Barnhardt and Dr. Dennis Willoughby officiating. At other times, the family will be at the home.
