The 2012 year-end IHRA Awards Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 13 at 9 p.m. in the pits at Memphis International Raceway and is open to everyone.

The Awards Celebration will recognize and honor drivers from the Summit Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL and Summit SuperSeries and Summit Team Finals presented by AMSOIL and Moser Engineering for their achievements throughout the year. All drivers in the top two within their respective Pro-Am division in all classes including Junior Dragster, plus the tracks and drivers of the year on the Pro-Am Tour and the Summit SuperSeries grassroots level will be honored at the celebration.

The evening will conclude with the crowning of the three Summit SuperSeries World Champions in Top, Mod and Junior Dragster plus the naming of the IHRA Sportsman of the Year and IHRA Sportsman Driver of the Year.

This year’s IHRA Awards Celebration will be held on Saturday night to give everyone on the property a chance to attend. The event will be held on the grounds at beautiful Memphis International Raceway following the conclusion of the Summit Tournament of Champions time runs and Summit SuperSeries runoffs in the large decorated tent in the pits. It is scheduled to get underway at 9 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy a night of relaxation and fun as we honor IHRA drivers for their year-long accomplishments one day before the big go as the remaining seven champions are crowned at the Summit Racing Equipment Tournament of Champions presented by AMSOIL on Sunday, October 14.
